Hey everyone,
I have a noisy compressor that iv been told could be due to slugging. I have a fieldpiece SMAN 3 digital manifold gauge. It measures superheat. Do I need to still take a temperature at the evaporator when my SMAN takes calculates superheat near the compressor? I found today that there is bubbles in the sight glass as well. I know that bubbles in the sight glass shows problems in the system. I would appreciate some feed back. Im going to attemp to diagnose and repair the system tomorrow. Rusty
