I know Ashworth College is accredited, but they are not even a real school under IRS guidelines and they fall up under the definitions of degree mills. Here is proof: http://www2.ed.gov/students/prep/college/diplomamills/diploma-mills.html. Also, Ashworth College is a for profit institutions. For-profit institutions are not really respected at all and are known for deceptive recruiting;etc. Look at these news videos. Even the Government Accountability Office done investigation on them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pa1DxUWMsEUhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9PbevtrhEKMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmmYKlPx3Swhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4msPRG2PD1Ehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bTgZR5RVeFAhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSV3dS2uc8g. That is not all. It is already bad enough to deal with a school that is nationally accredited. Most schools will only accept nationally accreditation credits if they have been seperately evaluated by CHEA, which Ashworth College's programs are not. According to CHEA only 4% of students are successful that graduate from institutions that do not participate in Title 4 funding. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0V7p_aDNxm0. If you look at these videos, former employees of schools like this have exposed them for using pain points against students. They destroy your self-esteem to get you to enroll. On top of that they lie about their programs success rates;etc. Have anybody ever questioned why Ashworth College does not provide graduation rates, retention rates;etc. on their website like other legitimate schools do. Do not be fooled. When you talk to most of the faculty and staff, they be reading from a script. They have complaints against them all over the internet. http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/PCDI-Ashworth-College/Norcross-Georgia-30092-3406/PCDI-Ashworth-College-ripoff-false-misreprentation-Norcross-Georgia-EDitors-Opinion-37687http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Ashworth-College-University/Norcross-Georgia-30092/Ashworth-College-University-Do-Your-Research-These-are-Worthless-Degrees-Norcross-Georgia-420826. You can also check out complaints against them on these sites: www.onlinedegreereviews.orgwww.viewpoints.comwww.guidetoonlineschools.com. Watch this discussion of mines get deleted because I am exposing what goes on at schools like this. I just do not want to see students being misled and ripped off.
