There is always talk about how hard it is for a single mom to go back to school or a single mom to work, but my question is what about being a single dad. I am a father of 5 (3 girls) (2 boys); 2 in grade school, 2 toddlers, and an infant. I read a lot about how hard it is for single moms but I never here anything about single Dads? Do we not have it just as hard? Are there more single moms in the world than single dads? Why are there so many opportunities, as far as special assistance for school or work, for single moms and no recognition for single dads? Why is there so much emphasis on single moms versus single dads? Whats your take?
